Job Title: Freelance Rooftop Solar Project Manager

Location: France (Paris/Lyon)

Duration: 6 Months (potentially extendable)

About the role

My client is seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to support them on rooftop solar projects around France, with each project ranging between 200kw-1.5mw.

The successful candidate will be working a minimum 2 days a week, however, should be flexible for extra days if needed. There is also potential to get involved in future projects and extend the contract. This is a Hybrid role, with a need to travel to the office once every two weeks.

Key responsibilities:

Manage EPC and stakeholders
Mange local Commercial building owners/tenants/Local authorities
Conduct site visits for inspections /commissioning when needed
Report to and representing the clients Engineering and Execution teams

What we are looking for:

Candidate that is French speaking
Happy to travel once every two weeks to different offices and sites in the Paris/Lyon region.
5 years experience as a solar PV project manager
Experience and technical knowledge with rooftop solar projects and PV systems
Strong experience in stakeholder management
Experience managing local (France) grid compliance/applications /permits and local electrical regulations
Hands on knowledge with MS project
The understanding of PSCAD is desirable
